We’ve been providing exceptional, personalised service, since 2012, these days it can be hard to find. People often feel they are being ‘fast-tracked’ by franchised optical stores and are then given progressive lenses that are less than impressive. At Visualeyez Boutique Optometrists Whangarei, we’ve improved many people's visual experience by re-fitting their frames with our high quality, premium brand lenses. If your current optometrist is not delivering on service or their frames and lenses left you feeling uninspired, give us a try; we guarantee you'll be satisfied. We believe that you can't compromise on valuable eyesight. So, we take the time to provide comprehensive eye health examinations. Learn more about them on our eye test page. Your eye test will take up to one hour.

Following your test, if you want to select some new frames, we will help you to choose one that will reflect your individual style. If we don't have one, we'll request some on ‘appro’ for you to choose from. We will then glaze your new frame (or your existing one) with premium quality lenses, including state-of-the-art coatings. If it's not right, we'll fix it; we have a 100% satisfaction guarantee!

Craig Robertson

Craig grew up on Auckland's North Shore. He left there at 20 years of age, becoming a radio announcer in Taupo and Hamilton, which then lead to a career as a television producer. After much travelling and four years living in Hong Kong and Auckland, he and wife Rachael settled in Whangarei, so that their children could experience the liberating lifestyle that Northland offers. Craig re-trained to become a Dispensing Optician, so he and Rachael could purchase Visualeyez Boutique Optometrists in March of 2012.

Craig loves mountain-biking, golf, tramping, listening to his daughter sing and watching his son play soccer. He continues to perform, being in several Whangarei theatre productions over the years and recently Mamma Mia – the musical. He also produces commercial voice recordings from a home studio and continues to support Opera North, both as a proud sponsor and also master of ceremonies for their many public performances.
